Do you charge an assessment fee?

We do charge a nominal fee of (£30) for assessing guitars for repair. This fee helps cover the time & expertise of our skilled technician who will carefully evaluate your instrument providing you with a detailed analysis of any issues it may have. However, please note that if you choose to proceed with the recommended repairs, this assessment fee is often applied towards the total cost of the repair. We believe in transparent pricing & want to ensure that you receive the best possible service for your instrument. What if I'm not happy with the repair?

At Pearce Guitar Maintenance & Repair Service, we value your satisfaction and are committed to providing the highest quality service. We understand that, occasionally, concerns or issues may arise. This Complaints Procedure outlines the steps to be taken if you have a complaint and how we will address and resolve the matter.

If you do have a complaint that you wish to raise, then please address a formal email to us where we will then investigate & work with you to investigate

Are you an insured business?

Yes, we are fully insured as a guitar repair business. We understand the importance of safeguarding your valuable instruments and ensuring that our customers have peace of mind when entrusting us with their guitars. Our insurance coverage extends to protect both your instrument and our workshop against unforeseen events. If you have any specific concerns or would like more details about our insurance coverage, please feel free to ask. We are committed to providing a secure and reliable service.

Do you have on-site security?

We take the safety and security of your guitar very seriously. Our workshop is equipped with comprehensive safety measures to ensure the protection of all instruments on-site.

We have designated and secure storage areas where guitars are kept when not actively being worked on. This helps prevent accidental damage and ensures that each instrument is properly accounted for. We do advise that you as our client provide a suitable gig bag or hard case to give your instrument protection during it's stay with us.

We know how much your guitar means to you, and we treat it with the utmost care and respect. When you trust us with your instrument, we show integrity at all times.
